Dink City

Terms & Conditions

Effective 26 July 2026

These terms govern your use of Dink City's courts, facilities and online services, whether you book through our website, WhatsApp, or our AI booking assistant. By booking, you agree to these terms.

Bookings

Courts are booked in one-hour sessions between 8:00 AM and 2:00 AM (MYT). Online you may book up to 3 consecutive hours; for longer sessions, book again or contact us. A booking is only confirmed once we verify your payment.

Pricing

Rates depend on the time of play. Off-peak (weekdays 8:00 AM–5:00 PM) and peak (weekdays 5:00 PM–2:00 AM, and all day on weekends and Malaysian public holidays) are charged at the rates shown at checkout. Prices may change; the rate shown when you book applies to that booking.

Payment & verification

We accept TNG eWallet and DuitNow QR only. You must pay and upload your receipt within 10 minutes of booking, or the slot is released. Once your receipt is submitted, the slot is held pending manual verification by our team, who confirm or reject it against payment received.

Credits

Pre-purchased credits are typed as peak or off-peak and may be redeemed against future court bookings, subject to the exchange rules shown at checkout. Credits expire 12 months from issue, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be used for equipment rental or pickleball purchases.

Workshops & clinics

Workshops are run by our coaches and are separate from ordinary court bookings. You need a Dink City account to register, so that we and the coach running the session know who is attending and can reach you if the details change — see our Privacy Policy for exactly what the coach can see about you.

Seats are limited and allocated first come, first served. The fee shown when you register is the fee you pay, even if the price changes afterwards. Workshop fees are paid after the session, in cash or by QR at the venue, rather than in advance — registering is a commitment to pay it.

You may withdraw at any time before the workshop starts, which releases your seat and cancels what you owe. Once it has started, not turning up is a no-show and the fee remains payable. If the coach cancels a workshop, or the underlying court booking falls through, you owe nothing.

Events

Events — tournaments, socials and community nights — are run by Dink City rather than by an individual coach. As with workshops, you need a Dink City account to reserve a place.

Entry is paid in advance, which is the main way events differ from workshops. Reserving holds your place for a short period while you transfer the entry fee and upload your receipt; the place is confirmed only once we have checked that transfer against our records. If the hold expires before the receipt arrives, or we cannot match the payment, the place is released and returned to sale, and you are told why. Nothing is taken in either case. Free events are confirmed immediately, with nothing to pay.

The entry fee shown when you reserve is the fee you pay, even if the price changes afterwards. Places are limited and allocated first come, first served. You may give up your place at any time before the event starts.

If we cancel an event, any place that has not been paid for is released and you owe nothing. If you have already paid, you choose how you are made whole: court-hour credits, which are issued immediately and are worth at least what you paid, or a transfer of the entry fee back to you, which we arrange by hand. See our Refund Policy.

Cancellations, reschedules & no-shows

See our Refund Policy. In short: cancellations more than 24 hours before a session are refunded as a credit (never cash); no-shows are forfeited; reschedules are allowed up to 1 hour before, with any price difference payable and no refund for a lower-value slot.

Conduct & safety

You agree to follow our Safety Rules and staff instructions. We may refuse or end a session for unsafe or disruptive behaviour without refund.

Liability

Use of our courts and facilities is at your own risk and subject to our Liability Waiver.

Changes & contact

We may update these terms; the effective date above reflects the latest version. Questions? Contact us.
